What Are LAUNCHCHARTS?

Launch Charts are high-quality rubber mats designed to serve as a precise visual guide for alignment and launch direction during practice.

Key Features & Design

Key Features & Design

  • Visual Guides: The mats feature vibrant, precisely printed "corridors" that represent specific degrees of launch direction relative to your target line.

  • Variable Distances: Available in three size options, optimized for use at 3, 6, or 9 feet from the golfer.

  • Data-Driven Feedback: Includes a detailed chart outlining curvature requirements and the "miss profile" for every launch direction up to 9 degrees.

  • Portability: The mats roll up into a convenient carry case that clips directly onto a golf bag for easy transport.

Purpose & Benefits

  • Alignment Aid: Provides an immediate visual reference to train your ability to start the ball on the correct line relative to your intended shot shape.

  • Skill Development: Acts as a framework for drills and exercises, creating a structured environment for better ball flight control.

  • Lower Scores: By training your launch direction and associated curvature, you will improve directional consistency, tighten your dispersion, and ultimately lower your scores.

LaunchCharts Philosophy

LAUNCHCHARTS are far more than a static training aid; they are the physical anchor for a complete philosophy of developing ball flight control, built on a blend of physics, motor learning principles, and real-world coaching experience. Explore the cards below to discover how LAUNCHCHARTS deepen your practice and transfer directly to lower scores on the course.

Purpose & Benefits
Face & Path Mastery

Deepen your understanding of the face-to-path-to-target relationships required to hit curving shots that finish within the target zone.

Purpose & Benefits
Technique Diagnostics

Experiment with body alignment vs. body referenced swing plane to move path. Discover which technical approach reliably produces your intended launch and flight.

Purpose & Benefits
Internalize Consequences

See exactly how start-line errors and curvature dictate your landing spot. Understand the geometry of your dispersion patterns more deeply.

Purpose & Benefits
Total Alignment Control

Don't just aim straight if you curve the golf ball. Use the charts as a dynamic guide to master any required start line, left, right, or if you're firing it straight, dead center.

Purpose & Benefits
Find Your "Stock Shot"

Give purpose to your practice. Identify your most reliable shot shape and practice the mechanics until the flight can be trusted and transferred.

Purpose & Benefits
Deepen Your Practice Value

Pair with a launch monitor and use our interactive training games to measure, challenge and refine your ball flight skills through variability and desirable difficulty.

Purpose & Benefits
Eliminate Big Misses

Play with strategic confidence. Learn how a predictable start line and one-way curvature allows you to plan effectively and minimise catastrophic errors.

Purpose & Benefits
Mental Imagery

Take these visuals to the course. Strengthen visualisation of the intermediate target and commit to the start line with absolute certainty.

Purpose & Benefits
Pre-Round Calibration

Sync your mind and eye. Dial in your launch direction corridor immediately before your round to establish a clear visual and kinesthetic baseline.

Purpose & Benefits
Widen Your On-Course Options

Prepare for the course. Develop the skill to move the ball both ways, allowing you to attack tucked pins, manage crosswinds and escape trouble.

Purpose & Benefits
Pressure Testing

Validate your control. Create scoring scenarios that force you to hit specific windows of start line and curvature against real-world constraints.

Purpose & Benefits
The Coach’s Assistant

Utilise an invaluable visual aid for coaches. Demonstrate small margins of error in launch and curvature, frame learning strategies, and guide technical club delivery.

The Launchcharts Difference: Predictable, Repeating Shots

Stop always fighting your slice or hook. Start using your natural ball flight as an asset. By learning the perfect start line for your intended shot shape, you will:

  • Hit more Fairways and Greens.

  • Significantly reduce shot dispersion.

  • Gain control over every club.

  • See your scores drop dramatically.

Size Your LAUNCHCHART

Choosing your LaunchChart size is not about how much space you have, it’s about how far in front of the ball you naturally picture your start line. The charts are scale models of your start-line corridors, to be laid on the ground in front of you.

The three sizes set that reference at different distances, from close to your launch point out to a fuller projection in front of you. Each chart is named for how far its front edge sits from the ball, not its physical length.

Your Choice of Three

The drills the charts support, training variable starting corridors and curves, are the same whichever size you choose.  What changes is the scale of the picture you set before each shot, and how directly the corridors guide your club face and body alignment at address.

All three roll up into a convenient carry case that will fit in or hang from your bag.

The 3-Foot Chart

Front edge 3 feet from the ball.

Best for: players who align off a close intermediate target.

If you set up by picking a blade of grass or an old divot a foot or two ahead of the ball, this is your chart. It sits close to your launch point, where the corridors are narrow but sit directly in your eyeline at address.

Working this close gives the most direct alignment reference of the three: the start line sits right in your address picture, so you can set your club face and body to the corridor and commit to it before you swing. It’s also the smallest and lightest of the three to carry.

The 6-Foot Chart

Front edge 6 feet from the ball.

Best for: players who want a longer reference for the start line.

Set further out, the 6-foot chart widens the corridors in your view and lays the start line across more ground, so you can interpret the launch more definitively before you swing.

It’s the middle option for distance and scale — more projection than the 3-foot, without giving up the close-in alignment reference you set the club and body to at address.

The 9-Foot Chart

Front edge 9 feet from the ball.

Best for: seeing the full range of corridors at the largest scale.

Set furthest out, the 9-foot chart projects the corridors across the most ground in front of you, laying them out at their largest scale.

Laid down, the 9-foot chart has the most visual impact of the three, giving a strong, meaningful representation of corridors that are almost impossible to tell apart at impact. Launching a shot through a corridor feels more achievable when you can see it at this scale, building awareness and confidence in the start line you’re committing to.

Working with a Launch Monitor

LaunchCharts work on their own, the corridors and drills train your start line and shape with nothing else needed.

If you do practise on a launch monitor, whether it's your own or a bay at your range, it adds a layer of feedback on top, and this tool shows you exactly which numbers to read on each system to capture it.
